(B) Seattle and Tucson formed two of the first junior roller derby leagues in the country in 2007. (C) The Seattle Derby Brats were also one of the first leagues to host an elementary division, ages 8-11, called the Tootsy Rollers CQ, where the girls can learn the game and how to skate. Henry Hurley CQ, a Seattle Derby Brat board member, said there are around 10 of these leagues in the country.
